There aren't a lot of celebrities kids can look up to these days. Steve Irwin was one of the rare few. He protected animals and got children excited about learning.
We will all miss you Steve.
The world is a much sadder place without you.

I will miss him and so will a lot of people. If he had to go, at least he got to go doing something he loved. He showed people that man and animals could live together and learn to respect each other.

Tara: Yes, I will miss him. To watch his show gave me the incentive to do things. Not to such an extreme as he did, but it made me feel good just to know there were people out there like him who were not afraid to live each day to its fullest. May he rest in peace.

He was quite popular at our house with two nature crazy kids and a baby quite fond of loud noises and sudden movements which his shows are full of..

Absolutely- he did a lot for animals. Getting people to pay attention to them, educating, donating his own money for rain forest preservation....
He was a treasure, and his death was a tragedy.
God be with his family.

Yeah I will miss him. I find it hard to believe. I grew up watching his shows with my brother and my dad. He will be missed.

yeah i used to watch him when i was younger havent heard about him in a while. . . kinda weird. . . he wrestled with crocodiles and he ends up getting killed by a stingray
