I think the best song I have ever heard is a Christian song called Don't cry for me. It is about a guy that has died and is telling everyone not to cry for him because he is happier in heaven. After all the tragedy in the past 5 yrs. 9/11 Katrina. recently Steve Irwin's tragic death. Being in heaven sounds great right about now.

Well for me there's: "High" by the Lighthouse Family, "Move Along" by the All American Rejects and a few more that I can't remember right now. One more : "Hold On" by Good Charlotte.

It may sound weird to others, but my choice is India Arie- I Am Not My Hair. That's my choice because I was turned down for a job because of my hair (locs). Everytime I hear it, I sing along as if I'm telling that dumass company off. I sing it loud and proud...I AM NOT MY HAIR!!!!!

Get Happy......Judy Garland originally, but i like Jane Horrock from Little Voice better.....it IS my happy song. the family hears it and knows momma is in a good mood......

Forget your troubles c'mon get happy,
you better chase all your cares away.
Shout hallejulah c'mon get happy
get ready for the judgement day.

the sun is shinin c'mon get happy,
the lord is waitin to take your hand.
shout hallejulah c'mon get happy,
we're going to the promise land
We're headin across the river to
wash your sins away in the tide.
it's all so peaceful on the other side.

Forget your troubles c'mon get happy,
you better chase all your cares away.
shout hallejulah c'mon get happy,
get ready for the judgement day.
Forget your troubles c'mon get happy
chase ya cares away.
hallelu get happy,
before the judgement day.

Das Spiel by Annett Louisan (see http://www.myspace.com/annettlouisan ). Although my command of German is limited, she has such a cute voice that I can't help but smile every time I hear it, especially when she gets to the chorus.
