ok im getting a basement room soon and i want a cute theme to decorate it with... but i just dont know any theme ideas? do you?

i suggest going for a "color theme" not a real theme. themes can get out dated and you might not like it anymore.
choose two main colors. like your favorite color and a color that looks good with it. like:
pink & brown
blue & green
purple & blue
yellow & green
once you've chosen your colors look online or in catalogs for furtinure, quilts, etc. for your room. it'll look real cool!

I like sheep, like a sweet dreams theme. Sheep bedding is hard to find in crib sets and toddler beds. Any kind of animal can be for either gender. Baby animals are cute!

a friend of mine did her daughters room in a theme of ,Blue Ice and .. ....It was so nice...she painted the walls a nice baby blue..the ceiling white...she has babyblue and white bedding,,,with a sheer net that drapes over her bed...fluffy white cotton and silk throw pillows...she made about 5 big bean bags Three white two blue... that were the fluffy type of fabric and threw them all over the room floor and corners.....then she has fake silk lillies/lavander flowers on the dresser...she painted the dresser white with the drawers blue ...every thing was so pretty when you walk in...it looks so bright and sweet.the window covering where in a sheer white and blue curtian set...i mean words don't do it justice...she didn't spend to much money...she did a lot by herself....

How about some Shabby Chic, If you like that, distress finish and antique touches, classy, but for a basement I don't know, what are your colors, distressed finish is great.

go mod... you know bright color such as yellow orange red lime green or moroccan you know the dark deep reds and browns!! get a hookah and tobacco to throw in there and youll be set
