the majority of politicians are lawyers and most of the laws that have been introduced have been against what the majority of people think,it seems that the laws are pro criminals, even if its known that someone is guilty the case can be thrown out on a technicality,an example is if someone breaks into your house and falls over a chair and breaks a leg then they can sue you,the lawyers have the most to gain by creating laws that they know are really anti justice,i am sick of it,what about you.

So, you want to limit the process of making laws to only those people who are untrained in how the law actually works...

Don't we have enough problems with stupid politicians, without also requiring them to be uneducated as well?

In many state legislatures, a good part of the legislature does not practice law or possess a law degree.

The system of checks and balances exists to remedy an unconstitutional law.

On the Federal level, special interest lobbyists have allowed laws to pass which haven't met judicial review.

i think we need to limit ourselves to the basics and allow the courts to do their work without political interference most courts are very skilled at administering good decisions however some areas of law are difficult to legislate over because of all the variables that exist many volumes of law govern property rights and responsibilities and i agree that that area may need work it is not who is writing them as much as what does and doesn't get written i hate to say this as i usually don't care much for new laws because many times they restrict rights and don't protect them but sometimes they get them right there is likely history to research to find why those laws are not on the books now
