recently in class we constructed a paper tower fro a single sheet of paper but none of us got it to high in my class. I was wondering if anyone had a strategy that worked that got them a really high tower. It's not cheating as we already finished the activity so you can tell me because it won't really matter since we already got graded on it. I'm just curious to see what others did or do.

A single sheet of paper? I dunno. I would try cutting and folding it up. Maybe into triangular prisms. Those are usually strong. If you were using a stronger type of paper (like cardstock) I would try having one long sheet and a small sheet that it leaned on. Keep trying until you get the biggest ratio that will still hold.
