Who Dey... WE DEY!!!!! The Steelers are an excellent example of what football teams should be, consistent & loyal, they have the most heart and are great examples of what good sportsmanship is.
I wish all the Steeler haters would give it a rest already...we know you hate us, we know you are afraid Troy or Joey will hurt your QB ~ Lets see what you have to say about week 8
GO STEELERS!!!!! Happy Football Season

Defending Superbowl Champions (because they were the best team, when it mattered) and they still have talent. They haven't played anyone (starters) in preseason, so don't get too confident if you are betting against them. They also have a quarterback that will someday be regarded amongst the best. Rookie year he goes undefeated as a starter in regular season and leads his team to the AFC Championship Game. Then his sophomore year (no jinx) he leads his team on the road for 8 or 9 straight wins through the end of the season, the playoffs, and a Superbowl win. Name any quarterback to accomplish all of this within two years. Oh wait you can't because no other quarterback has.

Historic team, great history, great owners.
I don't really like them a whole lot, but I respect them a whole lot.
Cowher is a really good coach. He would have been fired many times over, over the years. Hats off to the Steelers ownership for being loyal and sticking with him. Teams lack patience and fire the coach way too soon usually. And that is a bad mistake. Its good to have stability.
As far as last year goes, the Steelers weren't great, but they knew how to get it done. They will miss The Bus this year, I don't see them returning to the Bowl. And if Charlie Batch plays a lot this year, you have problems, Stiller fans.

I live in Cleveland and just moved here last year, so I could give a Dog's Derriere about a rivalry with all due respect, I'm just not picking sides. But last year, my sister and I just happened to wear yellow and black to a Brown's game. Boy what a way to make some unfriendly friends! Cool! I used to love the Steelers when I was little... my Mom worked for the Steelworkers Union and I really liked consistency.

They are a good team but not a great team. They had a lot of luck last year in winning the super bowl. They will not repeat however because there are at least three teams in the AFC that are better. New England, The Colts, and Denver.

Since NJ doesn't have a football team...been rooting for the STEELERS since the 70's Cowboy rivalry. Ben had surgery but Batch will do his best in the season opener Thursday.
Their team colors are awesome. :)

They have solid skill players and offensive line play. Their defense is very tough...when they are ahead in the game. Their whole game plan is to get ahead, run on offense, blitz on defense.

Pittsburgh falls behind by more than a touchdown and they become a different team.
