How some of the answers to these questions include remarks that slam Americans? You might not like how I respond to this type of question, but I'm not going to sit back and let someone put us down.

The only reason I take the piss out of America on this site is because of the idiot running your country. When I was in the states, I found the majority of the people were intelligent, kind-hearted and fun to be around.
I does irk me though that a few Americans on this site (no names in particular) seem to think that the rest of the world doesn't have the internet.

I don't think they are putting us down personally. They are responding to the stereotypical American idea. Like it or not, there are many loud-mouthed Americans with nothing positive to say. Unfortunately, these are the people who get the most press.
