I agree - "The Exorcist" is the only movie I know that gives me chills just thinking about it, even in broad daylight.

The Shining. Between the shenanigans in Room 237 (or is it 273?) and "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy," it is very disturbing, I think.

And then there are the creepy little twins who want Danny to play with them. And Danny's transmission to the cook. And the last 20 minutes of the film.

There's a lot of pretty creepy stuff in there.

The Exorcist was very creepy.

I thought in the movie "Syriana" when they were pulling the guys fingernails off, that was really disturbing for me, how painful!

The Exorcist or when Freddy Kruegar chops his fingers off when he is chasing Tina through her back yard!

I think the most disturbing fil I have ever seen was Ichii the Killer. One of the characters cuts his tongue off with a pair of scissors. He does it himself without flinching. I was in agony watching that scene.

Saw 1 or 2 would be the creepiest. But I haven't seen a movie that really scared me. There are certain things that make a movie scary like when you watch jeepers creepers 2 and as they open the bus doors, the door to your actual house flies open, now THAT is scary. But movies now a days don't scare me.
