In some cases.parents don't want them to wear make up ..so they sneak on here and ask....if you want to answer the question for them..i think the best answer is "ASK your Mother..." I would be pissed if someone was to give my daughter boyfriend tips when she wasn't allowed to date . It's bad enough we have the media telling our children how they should look to get attention, by wearing makeup and skimpy clothing... Today our young girls dress trashy, showing almost all thier body, ...looking 10 years older than they should with all that makeup... As parents,we could do without the help of complete strangers pushing them on...

Bailycat: you are the kind that we should be watching for...You would be about the only parent that wouldn't know if their 12 year old daughter is out on a date...

My concern is not so much with the people who answer the questions the 12 and 13 year olds post, but with the parents who allow their 12 and 13 year olds to be on here at all. When you read some of the content of some of the questions and the answers, if the kids are on here at all it doesn't really matter what is given in an answer to them - they can still read all the rest of the questions and answers. If I had a 12 or 13 year old I would be doing my best to make sure they weren't on here at all. It is very obvious that there are kids on here who need much more supervision than they are getting. I ca also see sometimes how people answer questions from kids and don't realize that the individual is only 11 or 12 or 13. I know that it isn't easy to supervise kids today, but there are ways to prevent kids from being on a site that has content you don't agree with, even if it does mean a battle with the child.

I understand where you are coming from here. As a parent, I don't want my daughter wearing makeup at a young age either.

If you read some of the responses, a lot of people are telling the girls to talk to their parents. Mostly I've seen people saying that
light or none at all is best on young girls. They also are suggesting that the girls wear only lip gloss or something. Most aren't telling them how to pile it on.

I don't think it's so much pushing it on the girls, it's more a case of trying to give advice to kids that are confused. They are old enough to want to grow up, they want to look nice, they want be attractive. It's a hard age. If they are on here in the first place asking, I would think that it's better to have honest answers from women more experienced, than have them out there trying to figure it out with their friends that don't have any more clue than they do.

As a parent, if I was uncomfortable with the thought of my kids asking questions that go against my rules, I would ban them from the net. It's easier to do than trying to monitor every minute they spend on it.

I can totally understand where you are coming form with this. At the same time I feel it tis the parents overall responsibilty to make sure their child does what is right. Not the anonymous strangers on the web.

The real question is why is the 10 year old on a site like this unmonitered. I've seen all types of questions and answers that would not be appropriate.

I know a parent can't be everywhere at once but I wouldn't let this villiage raise my child.

As a parent I see your point of view, but there are two sides to every story. For instance, maybe the girl does not have parents like us to ask these questions of. Or maybe, they are afraid of their parents.
Or maybe their mom is a sleezeball, and they want some one to give them advise on how not to look like mom.
In a perfect world kids would do exactly like they are told, and not disobey their parents, but that does not happen. It is the nature of children to try to grow up before they should.
For the most part of what I have read when a girl asks for makeup tips they are quite calm, sure some people get carried a way, but those are the ones that get carried away on every question and we can not stop them all. Unfortunatly.

If the mom was being raptured, she would be gone instantly, literally "in the blink of an eye." She wouldn't have the opportunity to deny Jesus. The mom would have done everything possible to make sure that her child knew about Jesus, about what it means to be a true Christian believer. She would have taken her child to Sunday School, to Sunday church services. She would have had her child enrolled in a church youth group and/or summer camp, where the child would have learned more about being a believer, and she would have been offered opportunities to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior. The child may have had opportunities to go to concerts/performances featuring Christian artists. If possible, the mom would have enrolled her child in a private Christian school. The mom would have been praying for her child at least once every day, probably more often. Jesus said that following Him can result in there being a sword separating husband from wife, parent from child. The mom would have known that and would have known that ultimately her child would have been responsible for making her own choice about whether or not to be a Christian believer. Once the mom is raptured, she will be instantly in the presence of Jesus, and all else will fade away as she looks at her Savior face to face, eye to eye. If you are this child, then I pray that Jesus will make Himself known to you so that you have no doubt about who He is and how you can make your choice for Him.

Just like these young kids are asking these questions, why are they on here anyway, if they click on any sex related question you better believe they are reading the response, so my suggestion to you is not to get mad at the people answering the question but get upset at the parents who are not monitoring what their kids are doing on the computer. Trust me, a lot of things being said on this site is not for them!!!!!!!!

I let my 12 year old girl wear light pal pink color lip gloss or glitter shadow. And NO mini's. I let her know that her body is a temple of God. Treat it like a temple. I wouldn't give out advice to other girls about what they should do. I think it's the parents job. It's my job as the mom.

I would be pissed to. I know what you mean, its ridiculous. Complete strangers shouldn't even be telling them this stuff, even though everyone else is, as a parent, there are some things we don';t want our kids to do, but now they can get something out of it on answers and other sites. Its sad. If you say Ask your mother you better bet they are going to delete the answer !:)

No Offense, but if people keep their kids from the internet to begin with, pedophiles wouldn't have a buffet to feed from, and parents wouldn't become offended with what their kids read. Talk to your kids so others don't have to. This isn't directed at you, it's directed at your question/statement. And, being a parent of 4, I can tell you my kids do not surf blogs to get advice. They may not get it where they need to, but it's definitely not from the net in my house.

I'd be more concerned about the continuous questions about pregnancy from preteen girls than makeup tips that constantly get posted here. Now THAT'S a real issue.
