Here is my Prediction;

1 close win already (GT)

5 easy wins - Army, Navy, Air Force, Stanford, North Carolina

2 loses - USC, Michigan

2/4 loses here - Michigan St, Purdue, Ucla, Penn St.

End of year record 8-4 and given a undeserved BCS bowl

They have 6 easy wins. Army, Navy, Air Force, Stanford, North Carolina and Purdue. Purdue is absolutely horrible, did you see their game against Indiana St. They struggled for much of the game. UCLA is very overrated. Their defense is not that good and the offense is shakey. I think they will lose to USC and Michigan, then the Michigan St. game will be good as is usually is. Penn St. I think will wreak havok on the Notre Dame offense. But Penn St. has no running game (76 rushing yards against Akron) and Morelli was ok but should have been a lot better. I think Notre Dame will beat Penn St. at South Bend. I think they will finish 9-3 and most likely get a BCS berth because they only have to be in the top 10 to get it. Two losses will definately be USC and Michigan then I think the other loss will be either MSU or PSU, even though I said Notre Dame will beat PSU, Penn St. may still be able to come out on top because of the play of the linebackers. If I were to get my way though, I would have them losing to Penn St. this Saturday and I hope that sends them into a tailspin which makes them go 4-8 or something lol. But I can only hope.

close win v.s GT-14-10
I've seen they dropped to #4 in the rankings
But I see them bouncing back in a big way this saturday v.s. Penn State 28-17
Army, Navy,Air Force, Stanford, and North Carolina should be easy ones. Should win these games by 20 or more. As for the other games, they are brutal. I say they beat michigan again. Always struggle against mich st. I believe they rebound against USC this year. All I see is 1 maybe 2 losses. I see mich.st.
and if there is a second loss it will be an upset by one of the weaker teams. Possibly stanford. 11-1 or 10-2 .

But i'm an Irish fan till the end also. Just my opinion.

I think maybe 9-3.

Penn State will blow the Irish out big time. Something like 38-13 or worse. Actually Penn State could go unbeaten this season.

Ohio State will win 24-14

Michigan will win 10-7

The USC game is a pick 'um but I think ND wins a close one.

The rest of the schedule should be pretty easy. And you're right, they will get a bowl bid but not a BCS bowl bid.

They've got Penn State and Michigan coming up here in the next few weeks. I say they win one of those, and lose one. Keep an eye on that Mich. State game, too, since it is a road game. I can't really see them losing to Purdue at this point though, but I do think they lose to USC.

So I say 9-3, and yes they probably will wind up in a BCS game.

Wow what predictions hey one guy had them losing to OSU and they dont play them. Georgia Tech game must be weighing on everyones minds at this point in time, the same Georgia Tech team who went 7-5 last year with wins against Miami, and Auburn. The same team who has one of the best defenses in the country. There are no games I am worrying about at this time, the first 6 weeks are going to be good games we could lose one or win them all(more likely). One game played and I can tell you that a lot of teams are overrated and ND may very well be one of them, but I think they go undefeated. They have played the best defense they will see this year, and the best wide out they will see and walked away with a win. In 2 weeks ask the same question if they are still undefeated and see how many bandwagon fans tell you undefeated. They win it all this year.

I think they have a shot at an undefeated season. USC will be the toughest game and I think that is a winnable game for ND. My prediction is 11-1 regular season for the Irish. Ga Tech is better than people are giving them credit for. The next two games will tell a lot about the Irish with Penn St and Michigan coming to South Bend.

They get Michigan at home, and last year they methodically tore apart Michigan, at the Big House. Not an easy thing to do.
Now their top 2 wideouts are in the mix, they will win the Michigan game at home.

Their only loss should come on the road at USC, and if they scrape a win off that (which I expect them to do with Quinn at the helm) they will fight for the national championship, assuming they are undefeated.

I agree with you on almost everything. Except I have them beating Mich. and losing to Penn St. and Mich St. Still undeserving of a BSC game.
