ok in science we have to do an egg drop. what should i do for the container to put it in so it doesnt brake?

get 2 sections of an egg carton. line with cotton balls. put the egg in. tape shut. outside: more cotton balls. bubble wrap. and tape again.

i'd put it in an empty 2 liter pop bottle and then attach a parachute of some sort so that it will break the fall of the bottle and not crack the egg. and i think the egg should be wrapped in lots of bubble wrap so when it does hit the ground it will cushion the fall.
thats wat i would do...dont know if it would work or not but it seems logical to me =]

WELL WHEN I HAD TO DO THAT ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO I HAD AN OLD BICYCLE SEAT AND JUST STUFF IT IN THERE WITH NEWSPAPER OR U CAN ALSO USE LIKE STORE MAGAZINES . WHAT WAS GREAT ABOUT MY TEACHER IS THAT SHE ALSO LET US USE A TYPE OF PARACHUTE WE MADE OF A PLASTIC BAG AND PIECES OF STRINGS . U SHOULD ASK YOUR TEACHER IF YOU CAN ALSO USE A PARACHUTE.
BY THE WAY AT THE END MY EGG SURVIVED THE FALL.

obviously u have to use a card board box. put cotton balls nd thos epacking peanuts. bubble wrap. w/e "comfy" thing you could find. if you have time you can go to the ups store and get some of that packaging stuff. =P
