because they like to be alone and by themselves rather than outgoing. which is one of the big reasons why some people don't have a sense of humor.
my brother loves to sit on the computer and just play computer games. he hardly ever talks and when he does, it's usually related to schoolwork. he's not very outgoing but he's a really smart guy. get's A's all the time. but just doesn't have a sense of humor.
i'm exactly opposite of him.

Since you put this in special ed- I am assuming this is a serious question. It can be a symptom of a form of autism called ashbergs.
