My computer recognizes the drive, it tries to run the CD but it doesnt play it... After it spins the CD or DVD it says "No Disk In Drive". I've tried a bunch of differents CDs and DVDs and nothing works.

Sounds like a problem with your drive. The first thing to try would be cleaning the laser. If that doesn't work, you could be looking at a new drive. Maybe its just me, but they dont seem to last very long these days. Good thing they're cheap.

Sounds like u have to go to a new Cd-Rom or dvd-rom
I think it has passed away

ok... try using a lens cleaner and try reading a cd again if it works then good the lens are just a little bit dirty if not then bad the drive is damage and needs to be replaced....

Open up your computing device and make sure that the plugs to the CD force is plugged in each and each of how bypass to the BIOS putting and alter the boot putting so its reads for a CD so as which you realize it rather is choosing your CD force up

Reinstall the drivers...or uninstall the drive from the device manager...reboot...and let it install itself anew.

Right click "My Computer"

Click "Properties"

Click "Device Manager"

Expand the + on "DVD / CD-ROM Drives"

Right Click "Drive D"

Click "Uninstall"

Click "OK"

Reboot
