Land of Oz
After journeying on for some distance the narrow path they were following turned into a broad roadway, paved with yellow brick. By the side of the road Tip noticed a sign-post that read:
"NINE MILES TO THE EMERALD CITY."

Think about it. The yellow brick road was in the Land of Oz, over the rainbow. I think it means the same thing as "See you on the flip side" or, basically, that person is saying that they will see you in their version of heaven. So, in other words, they will see you on the other side. Or, later, dude.
