My vote is A.
Yes, he was a diplomat after the Revolution.
However, he was not always diplomatic. He once challenged George III to come to his house personally and try to hang him.
Read his autobiography. He was one amazing dude!

I am proud to say that I am directly descended from his half-sister, but nobody has ever wanted to hire me for breeding purposes.
