probably true, but israeli bombings may have changed the figures as they killed more shia and christian
yeah political leaders are allocated to each religion
president for christian
p m for sunni muslim
parliament spokesman for shia

Unfortunately, the percentage of Christians in Lebanon (All of them Catholics, Orthodox, ....) is a bit less than 30%
this is mainly due to immigration
and that muslims have much much more kids than do Christians in that country.

and the percentage of muslims 62.2%

the percentage of christians in lebanon keeps on droping, they were the majority, but a lot of them left, and muslims have much more kids then them, so their share in the population keeps declining

why are u interested by their purcentage they are united nation , and who care are they christian or muslim , they most intersting thing is that they are leebaneese and that we are proud of them ,and that we feel shame about what isreal did to them and we are just seting without doing any thing , finaly god is with u , i love lebannon, vive le liban.
