Take the time to get to know people in the real sense of who they are... Show interest in them and learn life through them..
Listen with your heart, and think about what you say in return when you speak.
Be yourself and never put on a fake persona.
Laugh and find joy in the simple things in life.. Live within your means so that you can live a less stressful life. And build on close friendships and love as well.
And always look to the positive of what ever happens good or bad....
We learn soley on all of our actions even the bad decisions or those that were done to us in which we have no control over.
Best wishes to you .... Very cool question... ~

Everything starts with your career despite what many others might tell you. So, be sure you're doing something for a living that you truly love and feel 'wired into'. Don't let money be the priority in making the final decision when taking a career opportunity. What's foremost is that you truly love what you're doing and the people you're working with because when you meet these two criteria then you're going to be happy in your situation which will translate into creativeness and that leads to being good at what you do. Who makes the most money in specific career choices, those are are good at what they do or those who aren't? You know the answer to that and the fact of life is that when you're good at what you do the money will come by virtue of that. Now, once you have attained financial security in a career choice that you truly love then all the other things in life have a foundation upon which you can build from.

Being a Christian is what inspires me. Loving God gives me a desire to do what is right in His sight. I trust God to make all the decisions and the right ones.
A few months ago we were trying to get a loan from the USDA to buy a mobile home.
In order to do that we had to get a grant from Penquis Cap (community action program) to tear down our house. It is over 100 yrs old and will cost way to much to repair it than what it is even worth.
So, after we filled out all the paperwork and sent in the money for the credit report, we were denied! The credit score was awesome too.
But the CAP agency decided our house could be repaired! (Well, ANYTHING can be repaired it you know how to do it and have enough money)
So then my neighbor moved and offered to let us buy his mobile home. Even though it is smaller, it is easier to take care of. And the oil for the winter will cost less too.
Then we realized.. Hmmm.. Maybe God knows what He is doing after all. We prayed and prayed for everything to go through and the answer was 'no'.
Afterwards we realized that maybe it was a good thing that the loan didn't go through. We would have been in debt for antoher 30 yrs and if we were even still here we would be on the edge of death and our mentally challenged daughter would be stuck with a payment.
This way we will be all done in less than 6 yrs! 4 yrs on my neighbors mobile home and 5 yrs 7 months on the house that is in dissrepair.
So God really knew what was best - even if we didn't see it at the time. We do know.
25 years ago God even chose the person for me to marry. Even though I didn't like him at the time, I gave him a chance. I felt that if God wanted this person for my life - then the least I could do was to go out with him once - and THEN say I didn't like him.
But that one time changed it all. We were married 6 months later!

Commit yourself to proactive behavior and to the renunciation of ego games. Simply put, this is the power of mind over matter. I do not feel you can do this without taking a spiritual path and finding that path is your own unique experience. Blaming something or someone absolves us from personal responsibility. Understand you are the captain of your own ship and every action or non action you take has consequences.

Never walk by a person without smiling at them..then when you get comfortable doing that.. say Hello, or Good morning etc.
Everyone in this day and age likes to be acknowleged. Everyone has worth. It doesn't take much to make someone happy...and you will feel better as well.

First deal with your inner man. Cleanse you mind of all negative thoughts, meditate. Stop speaking negative, correct any attitude problems, abstain from sex for at least 7 days. Start to reprogram your self, with clean clear positive thoughts, Make a list of things to work on to enhance yourself such as:
*Posture

Everyone tells us to be optimistic. However, it the optimists always get disappointed, when thing do not turn-up to their expectations. Where as skeptics are always prepared for the disappointments, however, when things do turn-up their way then they are delightfully surprised.
It takes both kinds to make a progressive society.
Just think -
"Optimists invented the airplane and pessimists invented the para-shoot".
So just be yourself and always remain true to yourself with full convictions.

Be encouraged by failure, and in particular, be not afraid of it. With this one skill you will have the resources to do anything (though you may need to fail a time or two to pull it off).
