A man invents a new engine that runs on water. While developing it he falls in love with his lab assistant, then marries. With the money he makes from the new engine he builds his dream house and has a son. One day (since he loves flying) he buys and restores an old vintage WW2 fighter plane (P-51 Mustang). After rebuilding it from the ground up he takes it out for a test flight. While in a steep climb, the engine explodes and fills the cockpit with smoke. He can't see where he's going and all his instruments have failed. Just as the smoke clears he sees the ground rushing up fast. (that's where the story begins) In those last few milliseconds, his life flashes before his eyes.

Tell the story from that point on and go into the flashback. Lead into the end of the story (where the story began) with him calling out his wife's name saying "Natalie, I Love Y---"

How about writing a short story of a writer coming to grips with using correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation marks?

The protagonist might have lapses in her retained education and it could show in her writing creations.
