Do any of you use these as ways to meet people?
If so, tell me either your best or worst experience.
I have met some guys lately that are TOTAL tools, and I just want to know if other people have this problem too.
And if anyone says that only losers use the personals or the internet, I will come over there and smack you with a stick! =)

I don't because I've been out of the scene for awhile now. My girlfriend does, though. She meets the ideal man who turns out to be crazed, obsessive, or worse. Dating is scary these days. I miss it!!!

I have met quite a few guys off of the Internet date sites. I have found some real "tools" as you call them. I have also come across some real nice guys.
It is all in how you word your profile or answer the questions. If you aren't very specific then you tend to get the retards that are only looking for sex. On the other other hand, if you are too specific and say exactly what you want and how you want it, with no room for error. You tend to get these desperate men who were just hoping someone would be anal enough to enter their stratosphere.
I find that if you are open and honest and leave a little room for nature, you can meet some cool people.
I met this great guy recently. We are having a lots of fun getting to know each other.

i use rsvp its a ok site i meet my second last bf there he was great so nice to me and everything like we talked for like two weeks til he drove from sydney to meet me, we went to town, he even took me to see my neice in hospital, and took her brother and sister out for a day with me to see a movie and see town sites. over the time he went and saw my nieces christmas plays with me and just was u know always nice to me, unfortunatley he got a job oversease, so we ended it still feel kindda bad..
funny stories recently a guy i went to school with contacted my profile, and another guy i met we went on a blind date he had me little worried he was like well i look like fabio, i was expecting long blonde hair hehehe.

nah, they're all fat chicks on those sites ;) just playin with ya, I did for about a minute when my wife and I broke things off. It was a terrible experience.

Sometimes, but it doesnt work for me as I like eye contact and not with a cam.
