this question is simply easy the chicken came first because without the chicken there couldnt be an egg. also the chicken came first because a chicken would have to lay an egg in order for their to be a chicken so there for the chicken came before the egg.

Evolutionarily speaking the egg was required to come first because the first chicken would be a mutation from a preceding ancestor not classified as a chicken.
