Get a sandwich baggie and put a little Yogurt in the corner. They will be attracted by it. When there are several in the bag QUICKLY close the bag and start squishing the buggers. Then open it up and start attracting more. Repeat as necessary.
Next, get rid of what is attracting them. Rotting food, fruit peals and the likes. Get the garbage outside as quickly as possible so they stop breeding and hatching.
Good Buzz Hunting.
Gotta go now, the cat's being a pest.

Once the old fruit is gone they disappear. I usually clap my hands together and squish the little buggers...

IF you don't want to squish them or drown them in glasses of wine, spritz them with cheap hair spray. It destroys their wings and they fall to the counter where you can wipe them off into a trash can and throw them away.

Put a glass of wine (red or white they're not particular) on the counter....the wine attracts the little buggers. It really does work!
