A sprinter explodes out of the starting block...?

with an acceleration of +2.3 m/s^2, which she sustains for 1.2 seconds. Then her accerleration drops to zero for the rest of the race. what is her velocity at t= 1.2 seconds and what is her velocity at the end of the race?

=2.76m/s

at the end it is 2.76m/s

use the formula in your textbook to figure velosity... it is the same at t=1.2 seconds as it is at the end of the race because she does not accellerate or decellerate after t=1.2
