I just saw someone grab a cloth (like a tissue) with one hand and make a fist with the other hand. He stuck the cloth in the space between his pointer finger (index) and his dumb and pushed the cloth all the way in so that the cloth was no longer visible. Then he opened his hand and the cloth was gone. How is this possible?

Yes, you can get a thumbtip at any reputable magic shop, or many online stores. I bought mine from madhattermagicshop.com
Thumbtips start at $3.95 and go up depending on the quality. They also have a book called 101 tricks with a thumbtip for only $1.95.

The thumbtip is one of the most overlooked prop in a magicians bag. I have seen a demonstration where a magician did a similar trick with a Blue thumbtip, and nobody even noticed it.

I enjoy performing a trick where I take a lit cigarette and put it out in my hand, and it disappears.

Good luck

You wear a thumb tip and when you make a fist you pull the tip off, shove the cloth into it and put the tip back on.

I can tell you. Magicians wear a fake skin color thumb over their own thumb and that's where the tissue hides. Trust me, that's how it done.
