Is pro active really effective?
Even with a bad case of acne and scarring...?

USE. Pro-activ is amazingly useful and beneficial. My brother and I both use it. I wake up each day and wash my face, then use pro-activ. I do the same at night. My face stays so clear, you'd never know I have acne. I tell everybody I know about it because it is just super great!! I'm serious...I really love that product. Don't fret because of expenses or anything like that. It is 100 percent entirely worth your money.
Just a quick tip...be careful putting on clothing after you use pro-activ, because your clothes will bleach. That is the only thing I can say that is a negative attribute of the product...and it's not a huge problem because you can eliminate it by being careful.

Proactiv is pretty good with mild to moderate acne, but I would see a dermatologist for a bad case of acne with scarring. Proactiv is based on benzoyl peroxide, which I would guess you have already tried in other forms. It's a good product, but you may need a stronger prescription medicine.

My sister uses pro active and it really cleared her up. She also has no more scars. She had medium to mild acne moustly around the mouth. Shes used it for over 5 years now, jst to keep it healthy and clear. I definiatly recommend it ;)

i am not sure b/c i have never tried it but i guess you don't lose anything by trying and if u got the $$ go ahead i was thinking on buying it but i can't afford it 30 a month no way that's why celeberties use it...hope you get results and if you do pls tell me i myself suffer from acne right now i just bought this clean & clear Persa Gel 10 it contains benzoil perozide and it has helped me a lot it just dries the pimples that i have and they are gone...if Pro..active doesn't help try this!

I know this girl who has horrible acne(before she tried pro active) her face was naturally pale but when she hit puberty her face looked like a red balloon! But then she tried pro active and most of it cleared away!

My daughter has used this for over a year. It does clear up acne quite well. Drawback- it's expensive! about $60. each order. She also found there were certain things she never used in the kit and wanted to buy only the cleanser and moisturizer.
If you can afford it- use it!

i'm pro active user myself & it is VERY effective. u have to be sure that ur using the product the way ur skin handles it, ((i.e. if u have sensitive skin, don't wash ur face in the morning AND at night; pick one time per day)) but it REALLY DOES get rid of bad acne

it is verrrry effective it worked wonders for me but when it starts to flake that is not a bad sign as others may lead u to believe it is dead skin nd dried up zits coming OFF ur face so dont trip!!

bad acne is not good,I tryed it and all it did was dry my face out.I went to a dermatoligist and they described me a medicene called Minocycline and Santoz as the face cream I suggest you ask your doc about thoses medicenes.I now have a clear face and happy
