How can I dye a dress? I think it's a poly silk blend.?

Dyeing poly will not be satisfactory.
Poly fibers are "solution dyed" fibers., meaning they are dyed while in a solution, before it is extruded into fibers. Like a carrot, the color is completely through. Other fibers are like a radish, dyed on the surface.
It's the reason poly fibers are difficult to stain. They don't readily absorb stains, or dye.
