i've searched for it and there haven't been any results- the word's probably inexistent, or you spelled it wrong.

thio= sulfer

proprion = a 3 carbon chain, terminal carbon double bonded to 1 oxygen, and single bonded to the other, this spelling implies one of the hydrogens is missing making it acidic.

Aldehyde = a carbon double bonded to a hydrogen + 1 more bond

3-(methyl thio) propionaldehyde is also known as methional
a yellow to colorless flavoring additive:
