Only if you use too much tampon for the job. What I mean is, if you use a super plus when your flow only requires a regular, the cotton hasn't absorbed much and it's more dry than it should be. When you pull it out, you have nothing to stop the friction inside and you're scraping your insides.

It can if you haven't bled enough to moisten the tampon fibers properly...it is sticking to the vaginal wall and this is what's hurting. You may need to insert a finger and try to loosen it if it happens again. If it happens frequently, reduce the absorbency level of the tampon you're using (from regular to light, or from heavy to regular for example).

Provided that the tampon is not stuck in your vagina, (i.e. the string is within you too) no removing a tampon should never be painful. Should you have pain on multiple tampon removals please see your GYN. If your tampon is full, a slight pull on the removal string will allow it to slide right out.

Yes it can, if you put in a tampon with more absorbency than the liquid that came into it. It can actually be quite painful.

No, doctors say that if you have pain either during sex or removing tampons you should see the doctor and be examed right away. It should never hurt.

it can, but that's only if it's too dry, which means you really shouldn't use a tampon. if you are "freely flowing" let's say, you should use a pad instead
