I belly dance and it makes me feel good physically by keeping me in shape and mentally, It makes me feel like I'm worth something because I can do something no alot of ppl I know cant do, no to mention it's a beautiful ancient dance, I am the nice girl who you would never suspect of doing anything wrong, I'm even saving myslef for marriage, oh and by the way I'm 16. Whatever you guys say wont change my mind about the beautiful dance, and I would preform for anyone who asked me I'm proud of my talent.

I would wear a long white skirt underneath it. I love the motion it gives me when I'm dancing, It really makes the dance come alive

I LOOOVE the costume you just got. That ebay seller has BEAUTIFUL belly dancing clothes. I belly dance too, in my own way, simply because I can't afford lessons right now. It gets me moving, my arthritic knee stops hurting for awhile & I feel good afterwards. It's a great form of exercise too. If you lived near me, I would come see you perform.

It's not slutty but to some people it is. Maybe it is because the belly isn't covered. It's a dance, an art. I don't see anything wrong with it. If you like bellydance, keep on dancing then. It's what you think that counts, not other people.

I know absolutely NO ONE who thinks it is slutty. People of all walks of life, ages and colors think it is beautiful and they respect it. My coworker is a professional belly dancer. She belongs to a dance troupe and teaches classes at three different places each week. She even held a workshop at our Staff Day and more staff members signed up for her class that any other workshop. No worries, mate! You should get a Dolphina video. I love it!

I've never heard anyone comment that it's slutty.
Maybe you are concerned that you're exposing too much skin, and are applying this inside your own head...
Maybe the guys in your life have wishful thinking and are telling you this in hopes that you'll give in...
Regardless, it's an art, and on top of that, one that keeps you in good physical condition. Don't stop, whatever anyone tells you!

It isn't but some people with certain strict beliefs feel that showing your belly button or not covering your cleavage or doing anything that might arouse the opposite sex is wrong.
