moveon.org is a joke, they hate Bush so bad they will lie about anything. There was never a draft planned and they knew it. But heck what is the truth to someone that bases most of thier movement on lies anyway.

It's called an estimate or a prediction. Based on military turnover rates.
Instead of having a draft, the military started recalling people who had already left, preventing people from leaving, and extending the enlistment age until (I think) 42. So, the military found other ways of keeping up its numbers without needing the draft.
Besides, look at the quote. Prove there isn't a plan in place to start a draft later. Just because it hasn't been implemented yet just means the schedule wasn't accurately predicted. Doesn't mean it won't happen six months or a year from now.

Another attempt by the Democratic party and any who dislike the Administration to soil his reputation with false information.
We have so many "outspoken" people that sit there and want to discredit Bush, but they have virtually no ground.
Things I dislike:
No Child left behind
Immigration reform
Not publicly thrashing FEMA for a slow arrival to disaster struck cities from Katrina. (FEMA can make it half way around the globe in one day, but cant go 800 miles in two weeks.)
The Bush tax system
There are a few other things, but that is the major issues for me. Bush has the balls to make things he wants to happen, happen. Is his administration corrupt? Who's administartion hasn't had some sort of corruption?
The "draft" was simply a tactic to try and scare voters not to vote for Bush. It didn't work. But it was a nice try...

Obviously a biased story and anyone who believes there will ever be a draft during a time other than a world war and doesn't think the country would collapse into civil war because of conscription is mistaken.

Not true. The draft proposal was brought up by Chuck Rangel D-NY. Who then passed it off as a republican Idea, and of course, that's all the media heard. There was no chance of the draft returning.
