He is over at his girlfriends house and being drunk is just an excuse.

Well I got to give the guy credit that he called you, but why did he go off drinking without you? Go pick him up and let him sleep it off at his own house., Then when you feel its the right time ask him what the heck was he thinking, or doing. if this his normal behavior I think you need some real serious talking. I would not put up with it, but that's me. Good Luck!

Do you trust him enough to believe that he really is sleeping at his boss's house? If you're doubting anything at all, there must be a reason. The only thing you can do is, let it be till you catch him doing something he's not supposed to. Otherwise, you have to trust him, until you've proven him guilty.

Well you can play detective or you can believe him.. Apparently you have somewhat of a mistrust there. I think I would have been upset more if he hadn't bothered to call at all. You said by his boses house.. so where would that be? Why not ask your husband all about his venture. You might say to him, " next time you get drunk like that call me and I will come get you."

i know it must make you upset but your husband did the right thing by staying at his bosses instead of driving home. would you be happier if he called you from jail with a DUI and the cost of at least $5000 for a lawyer with his license supspended for 3 years. think about it a bit before you get upset.

I read you question and I saw that you husband said he was sleeping BY your bosses house not in you bosses house. put on your thinking cap and think. He already told you the answer. but good luck in questioning him.

I think you should forgive him if he only did once and have a talk with him about the sleeping out situation, give him a second chance to prove to you that he only gone messed up once, every body make mistake.

If this is a one-off situation - GO GET HIM for chrissakes. Bring him home and tuck him in bed.

If this is a regular occurance - get thee to an Alanon meeting or similar.

Go pick him up or ask him if he can't find a ride home. Tell him the taxi service is 24/7.

Call in a few hours to check on him. Go bring him home. If he gets so drunk that he can't get home more than once a year or so, I would recommend leaving him.

IF YOU TRUST HIM ENOUGH THEN YOU KNOW THAT HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!! JUST CONFRONT HIM ABOUT IT AND TELL HIM THAT YOU WEREN'T HAPPY ABOUT IT SO HE KNOWS THAT YOU FELT A BIT UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE SITUATION AND THEN MAYBE NEXT TIME HE MIGHT ACTUALLY THINK BEFORE HE DRINKS TO THE STAGE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO GET BACK HOME!!
