I don't like the Raiders, but not because they are not a good football team (I don't think they are that great, but that is actually beside the point in this case).
I don't like the Raiders because they are a trashy team. They all seem to have attitude problems, and, after catching a couple of quarters of them during the preseason, I watch them get away with a lot of dirty play on the field that anyone else would get called for. They pick fights, try to provoke the other team, stuff that is supposed to be a penalty now ('intimidation'). There is a great deal of unsportsman-like conduct that goes on during a raiders game, and I watch other players get called for it all the time, but never the Raiders.
The next problem I have is with the fans. They are crazy. And they may be normal, funloving people, but take them to a raiders game, and they turn into a bunch of thugs and hoodlums.
I think it says a lot when Howie Long, HOF defensive lineman, stated in an interview a few years ago, that he was afraid to take his kids to a home game, because the crowd was so unruly. If they played at the 49ers or the Rams (in LA at the time), he would take them to that game. Hard to imagine that you could be ashamed of your own fans like that.

The Oakland Raiders will be better in 2008. They are rebuilding still and will aquire a better quarterback in 2007. They already got rid of some deadwood recently. Their defense will win them a Superbowl in 08. Keep hating the Raiders. That is what motivates the team to win. Hate is a sign of jealously and hidden love.

I hate Al Davis, therefore I want the Raiders to lose as much as possible.
When I was a kid in the 70s the Raiders were my favorite sports team, I went to several of their games, they had a rabid fan base who always sold out the stadium, then freakin' Al Davis abandons us for the bigger market of Los Angeles. Greedy bastard!!

Huge Steeler fan here. I miss the old days (70's) when these two tried to kill each other all the time. The Raiders need the Snake & Tatum &Hayes & Matuzak & Alzado & Villipiano & Branch just to name a few. That rivalry was a war.

The raiders are a bunch of wussies. . . ohhhh. . I'm real scared. . . ohhhh .black and silver uniforms. . . ohhhhhh. The only thing more pathetic than the raiders organization is the loser thug gangster wannabes who root for them. Most raider fans are jerkoff losers who dress up to look tough yet root for a bunch of losers! Raider fans should all be rounded up in and old stadium that is being imploded!

I respect the Raiders, but I'm losing respect for reclusive mamma's boy Al Davis. New ownership will bring the Raiders back to the forefront. Go Silver and Black!!
