What are your reasons for not supporting gay marriage? As orderly and professionally as possible would be amazing. Please keep them logical.
Avoid reasons that state, "Because my religion is against it.", "I think its gross.", ect. I've heard enough of those anyhow.

First, I was quoting reasons. I didn't say "It is against my religion I think its gross." Those were two different quotes about reasons people provide.
Second, thank you for the VALID views, that have logic to them.
Lastly, one person said that people have the right to have their vote count. But I purpose a question;
If the majority deams it just, is it just?
Was slavery?
Would it be just is we voted to kill all jewish people in the United States?
I don't want to debate it on here, but email me if you wish, just putting up a point of view.

It amuses me that people vote this question down, because it purposes a different point of view.
Heaven forbid tolerance, oh wait, isn't that in the bible?

Amusing as always. The only arguments that people can come up with are either religious, or "because we define it to be wrong". So, either arbitrary or irrelevant as it pertains to secular law.
And what's even more amusing is that there are no laws prohibiting gay marriage in the US. Not one. All of the laws are purely based on gender, and completely ignore sexual orientation.
I wonder how long until "Because I don't like it" or "Because we said so" stops being a valid reason for gender-based discrimination.

most of the justifications provided for opposing same-sex marriage are depending on the conception that gay adult males and Lesbians have a call in who they could experience in touch in, and the reality is truly diverse. there's a good type of misunderstanding about what homosexuality extremely is, as well because the inaccurate assumption that gay human beings take excitement in an same civil rights protections as everybody else. There are also a good type of stereotypes about gay relationships, or maybe very much of misunderstanding of what marriage itself is all about and what its objective is. The competition to gay marriage stems ultimately from a deep-seated homophobia in American subculture, borne out of religious prejudice.

The vast majority of poeple in every state is against it.
In every state where there is a vote on it, people vote against it.
And yes this is a Christain nation by majority, and even then including the Jewish faith and the Muslim faith they are more against homosexual activities than the Christains are.
and they have the right to have thier views and vote count
And honestly your opinoin that religion is gross means little, since religous people have thier rights also.
And there is no "right" to it, thus they will have to have a law passed to make it so. They can not get the votes to make it legal, working within our legal system.
It goes against the very substance of nature.

Witches are against the Bible & Qu'ran, so I guess you are against them too.
I don't think they should(Gays) have the right to be equal, and therefore we should not accept any taxes from them. Boy, that will teach them to be normal like the rest of us. In the meantime, I have to iron my outfit for the Fri. night witch burning. There's one about a mile down the road. She's black with a white cat. We think she is able to turn the cat into a white man at night, and we don't like that black & white stuff either.

Because marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman. Allowing marriage of gay people is redifining marriage.
I'm ok with a civil union but calling it marriage is going too far.
Much of the argument is to extend the same rights to gays as married people have. A civil union and other existing legal structures can do that.

Gay marriage undermines the importance of real marriage. Since marriage is the cornerstone of the traditional man-woman relationship and traditional family, and since traditional families are the basis for raising strong children, traditional marriage is extremely important to society.
Gay marriage is a terrible hack out of one of the most importanat parts to the social foundation of a society. Gay marriage is sociallogically negative, therefore it must be opposed.

I have no opposition to gay marriage. I am gay. I support it because I hate religious b a s t a r d s and would like to see every clergyman tortured and buried alive and all religions banned. It is a damn cheek that gays are not allowed to marry. As if heteros are somehow better. What is the difference between marriage and union? Same thing, different names.

Marriage is between a MAN and a WOMAN and that is
normal. Marriage for gays is not normal. Now, I will go for the Civil Union for gays for the purpose of Insurance, and the other benefits, but no formal marriage ceremony should be allowed.
