i wrote it for my best friend and i don't want to give it to him if it's no good. what do you think?
I'm sorry for when I hurt you,
I didn't realize it before,
For not being there to care for you,
And not knowing you were sore.
I'm sorry for all my lying,
And cheeting my way through life,
And for always ignoring your thoughts,
Which now cut me like a knife.
I'm sorry for everything I did
That made you feel that way,
The things I said, the pain I caused,
I'm sorry, what more can I say?

I think it is good. There is one spelling error. It is spelled, "cheating," not "cheeting." If you are ready to change your behavior toward him, that is fine. If you are not,don't bother giving it to him. It's a very good poem that should be sincere. If it is, by all means give it to him. Good luck.

I have to be honest with you (and this is not a cut down) but this piece is full of cliches actually. I can see where you are going with it though. I think you need to find new and original ways to express these feelings, although I do understand that it is hard to stay away from cliches in this kind of writing. It just seems like more of a letter to me.

Sorry to say, but it's kinda cheesy. I think you'd be better off just writing a letter, or saying you're sorry in person.

very nice. Yes give it to him. Keep it safe somewhere so you can remember it in the future. Maybe start a journal and keep all your poems together.
