Currently I’m rereading Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte). I hated it when I first read it because of the characters, but I’m hoping that I’ll like it more this time around. The last most I read was The Moonstone (Wilkie Collins), and I loved it! It was a great combination of a gripping mystery and heartbreaking (or at least for some characters) romance.

My favorite book is probably Villette (Charlotte Bronte) closely followed by Persuasion (Jane Austen) and Vanity Fair (Thackeray). Can you tell I’m a sucker for all those old romances?

Lord of the Rings Return of the King. You can enoy this further if you have read the previous 2 books. Its like going to some other world but in a way it is really a battle between the ultimate good and evil and the sacrifices that goes with the triumph of good.

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stevenson
Runes of the Earth by Stephen R Donaldson
Crown of Stars by Kate Elliott
The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower by Stephen King
Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince by JK Rowling

Kate Elliott and Stephen R Donaldson are my two favorite authors. I enjoyed the last four and still reading Cryptonomicon. It is good so far, just slow moving.

I thoroughly enjoyed Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, it touched on some interesting U.S. History I am tying into my US History class this year and the love story is very interesting to me. There is a sequel to it written by another person, not as good, but it totally ties it all together and I for one wanted more answers before I finished reading about Scarlet. = )

I also reccomend Mistral's Daughter by Judisth Krantz. Seriously an amazing book. But it is so long, I cannot even begin to tell you what it's all about, just read it.

Im currently almost done with ''Tell No One'' but the previous one before that was ''Answered Prayers'' by Danielle Steel, I thought it was a drag but I still LOVED it, it took me to that world where you get really into the book and its like you're watching a movie in your head. Thats why I liked it. Tell No One is okay...too many story plots going on at once though so I read it when Im bored out of my mind :)

I have read so many books this summer but the last three were Anne Rice's "Interview w/ a Vampire", "The Vampire Lestat", and "Queen of the damned" and this weekend I have to read "Frakenstein" again for college. I really like Rice's books, its interesting how she describes the past in New Orleans.

The last book I read was an old nonfiction work by Truman Capote called In Cold Blood. Perhaps you saw the movie Capote on which it was based... that's what inspired me to read the book, and I wasn't disappointed. Great story... and all true... very suspenseful and well-written.
