I read it a few weeks ago, so names are beyond me at this point. But I'll refer to them as narrator and best friend. Okay, our narrator is having so much trouble at school because of the gossip and scandal being spread by her best friend. Her best friend is saying that she's a slut and she tried to steal her boyfriend at some party. The best friend walked into the room with him on top of her or groping her or something like that. However, the truth is...the narrator was almost raped by her best friend's boyfriend. She was fighting him off...but he was just too strong. But people walked in which stopped the situation before it became actual "rape." Still her best friend assumed the worst and became her worst enemy. Not satisfied just to end the friendship, she made it her goal to wreck her former friend's social life altogether. So now the narrator is an outcast.

After Sopie's boyfriend raped her at a party, Annabel stopped responding to people. She didn't return phone calls or talk to people, so over the summer she became an outcast. Sophie thought that Annabel was trying to steal her boyfriend which is why she was always cussing at her; but Emily was only going along with Sophie and never really hated her.
