Open Word. At the top of the screen, click Format, then click Paragraph. Towards the bottom of the Popup window, it will say Spacing. Choose line spacing and click the drop down. Select Double. That's it! You're set.

There's two ways to do it. Press enter to skip to a new line, or on the tool bar click the icon that say line spacing.

When you say 'skip' lines, I assume you mean your teacher wants it 'double-spaced'. Go to 'Format' and click on "Paragraph"; on the first tab (Indents & Spacing) of the window that opens, you can change the Line Spacing (scroll down menu) to varies settings: 'Single', "1.5 Lines", "Double", etc. Click on "Double", hit 'OK'.
Hopefully, this helps. :)

Easy way-highlight everthing, and then press ctrl and 2 at the same time. That should work. If not, the above methods will work too.
