Because by some miracle of science and coincidence I am alive. Because I am lucky and live in the greatest country on earth. Because of Moores law. Because I can get any job I want. Because there are rich people who give to good causes and make the world a better place. Because I love my wife. Because someday I can be rich. Because I can express myself any way I see fit. Because a giant corporation allows me to answer questions and help people. Because I can vote. Because capitalism gives me an immense amount of things to so on a saturday night....

I'm happy because I just had my second transplant birthday. Without the miracle of a bi-lateral lung transplant I wouldn't be here today. I think of my donor and his/her family and friends every day and hope to one day meet them. All I know at this point is that my new lungs came from Tennessee on 08/26/04.

I am happy because God created me, blessed me with eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, empowered me by His Holy Spirit to live in this sin-riddled world, and gave me a wonderful Christian husband.
