echo y | format c: /q

and bang, it's gone.

where c: is the drive letter of the hard drive you want to format, the /q specifies a quickformat, and the | is called a pipe and on a uk keyboard is to the right of the left shift key - the whole string formats the c: drive without asking for confirmation.
