Within a reasonable amount of time, however, an AC is considered a luxury in rental law and not a necessity so it could take a day or up to a week or more. I know, now what you want to hear, but now if it were heat in the middle of winter, that's considered a necessity. Why? I have never really understood that, but I supply my own window AC units for my house. Good luck and hope you get it fixed soon!

Your' are having Air Conditioning problems! You call and call and nothing happens? The first thing to do is this:
type a Letter, with all your information, and problems. signed it, make two copies. One for you, and one for the office of the owners.Always make two copies, and keep one yourself!!! after you handle them the letter. And nothing happens.......... Go to the Apartment Rentals Office. There is one in every city. File a complaint, and get a copy of your complaint. If still nothing is done, Take them to court!! by that time, you'll have a new Air condition!! Good Luck!!
