Sounds like republicans are trying to whitewash just what they have been doing to others.
What sane person is ever going to believe anything that comes out of the mouths of any republican any more anyway?
This kind of thinking could only come from the forked tongue of our most embarrassing president ever. This is the only time that his staff let him make a statement without someone else writing it and now they think we are so stupid as to think we would believe it, ha ha ha!
Republicans say Bush is a good president too and do we believe that line of bull too?
I think both Bush and Osama bin Laden have an awful lot in common as they both believe that we want to hear anything from either of them anymore.
I for one consider myself a good christian and because I am I can't hate either of them as yet but believe me it isn't easy but I think I'll be forgiven if I do hate them both for what they have each done to this world of ours and for either of them to ever think they could get into heaven is the biggest joke yet cause God is not a fool and would never allow evil into his kingdom, money can't buy anyone getting into heaven.
No matter what kind of a god Laden claims to have he's still going straight to HELL once he leaves this world and Bush will be right beside him on the way down.
No one has the right to shove ones religion down the throats of others because ones beliefs are just that and no I wouldn't accept any other religion other then the one I have now.
Keep your closed mined ideas to yourself and leave the rest of the world alone.

NO, at least I would hope that Americans were intelligent enough to not have a religion imposed upon them, but
there are people who are weak minded when it comes to religion. I would never accept radical Islamic beliefs.
I would hope that americans who cared for their country and culture that they would not be brain washed by the likes of Osama bin Laden.

Yes, religion absolutely can be forced on people. Look across the Americas. Conquistadors, Puritans, take your pick. That said, Republicans (at least any that I know) do not say that. In fact, I think that this may be the first instance of that being brought up outside of those Fox reporters that were kidnapped and released a couple of weeks ago, where their release was contingent upon their recognition of Allah and Muhammad.
And "as Americans," we largely tend towards ignoring religion in whole, so what difference does it make?

Salaams Why do u think of of it in terms of 'them' and 'us'? Can u supply one authentic occasion of any muslim attempting to impose their faith on everybody? Or can u supply any occasion of them lobbying the British parliament to make the country replace into Muslim? 1000's of diverse communities lobby Parliament to extra their own desires, and that i assure u none of them do in an attempt to attempt and stress human beings of the united kingdom to alter right into a definite faith. It became precise that the comic strip became banned, it became deeply offensive to all Muslims. the variety of element that became as offensive to Christians or Jews etc could the two not have been printed or could have been banned. Ur point of view basically furthers racial hatred and branch.

It's not a matter of being brainwashed. It would be a matter of saving your own life. Those two reporters were forced to convert to Islam at gun point. Do you think the women of Afghanistan WANTED to wear the Burka? You expect everyone to play by America's rules (coercion, bribery). They will not.

I have a solution: Why don't we send all the Christians to Iran and let them live with the Muslims. They deserve each other.
