Yes, they create as much government as possible. It wouldn't surprise me if they created a new cabinet position...."Secretary of Political Correctness". They would actually have authority over the Secretary of State.

You know it..,look at the liberal judges on the 9th circuit court in california whos trying to do that from the bench. The hell with the majority of the peoples vote..,they believe they are above the law.Its funny how they have destroyed the simple things we thought they could never legislate..,ie snack foods and soda pop out of schools, smoking bans and taxing tobacco companies, parents no longer allowed to discipline thier children..,and they are getting into our private lives more and more. But they want to complain when homeland security wants to listen in on terrorist phone calls and emails.People need to wake up and see that its the liberal democrats that wants to police our everyday life.Because it politically correct.

They can (and probably will) try to, but ultimately this is much like trying to legislate personal opinion or taste. The accepted rules of what is politically correct or not ammount to much the same rules that the Sophist philosophy did in ancient times and it too will always fail under critical, logical examination.

Would that be the Governments ability to tell us what we can think and say? Anyone for that should go live in China, Russia, Iran or N. Korea for a few months. Political correctness limits free speech and the ability for people to think for themselves.

No, but the Republicans have been and they want to legislate morality as well!

And what do you call political correctness? Going by the law?

No- not possible. PC can only be thrust on you by people whose brains have run amok.

For now at least, we still have freedom of speech. and if you want to say something stupid/offensive (or write it in the case of Yahoo Answers), you have the right to do so.

Just remember, there are consequences to your actions -- look at the Dixie Chicks or any number of people (left and right).

How can they? No one can agree on what is or isn't correct. So the answer to your question is: no, not without the agreement of the Republicans.

No, they will get courts to dictate it - less political fallout that way.

To what degrees? You can't call black people the N word or women "hole" at work without being fired. Is that the PC you're oppose to?
