There are six Harry Potter books so far, and the seventh (and final book in the series) is in the process of being written now. There has been a lot of speculation about when it will be released, most believe it will be available on 7-7-07.

J. K. Rowling writes them and they are in the following order: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter #7.

Your name should be hole in head along with the rest of the world. Am I the only one in the entire universe that knows that there are 6 books out and the 7th is coming out next year. There's only & years at hogwarts hello pay attention!
P.S. I refuse to read the philosifers(sp?) stone because I am I huge Harry Potter reader and think that this book and anything with the same title should be burned! Die!

Harry Potter doesn't have any books out, he is a fictional character, and as such cannot write his own books...
