If you need light to see into a mirror can you see yourself with nightvision goggles?

No. Because nightvision gear provides your eyes with light from another light spectrum we can't normally see otherwise your eyes would have light and you could see yourself in a mirror.

Not true, nightvision googles don't use infrared, they use natural light from sources such as the moon. The googles do have an aux. light source you can turn on and you would see yourself in the mirror.
