i just wanted to know what it will be like so i can be prepared. how do i make more freinds?

it was the beginning of the best years of my life...youo will make friends that you will remember your entire life...you will make memories that you will look back on over the years to come and laugh... 8th grade will be good to you. Have fun and enjoy it...before you know it you will be old and 35 like me.... lol

8th grade is the same as 7th- w/the drama escalating. It is also the most fun year because since you're going to graduate, you'll have a ton of fun activities at the end of the year. Just be prepared for class, do your work, listen to your teachers, etc.
As to how to make more friends- just make sure they're genuine. Relate to them on whatever you can, and remember that you're friends don't always have to be identical to you and like the same things you do. Be friendly, talk to people in and out of class (don't ignore them when they're passing you by in the halls or when you're w/a friend)and some people may even approach you in the halls.
Enjoy this year because high school is where you really have to watch out for grades, cliques, and drama. Enjoy and don't worry, what happens happens.

8th grade is fun besides the homework,tests,quizzes,the teachers you may not like but you get that in any grade.it's been along time since i was in 8th grade.I know i was nervous on every 1st day of school even when i was a senior! but in 8th grade you get to start thinking about high school going to more parties,dances,thinking about want you are going to be when you grow up, then you have a 8th grade graduation i know i probably didn't answer the question but it's different for everyone.

If your middle school goes from grades 6-8 it is fun because you will have more experience than the other grades. Also it is kind of a review of the seventh grade.

I liked 8th grade-the classes were easy, we did a lot of fun things, and the people were really nice. Of course, it depends on the school. My advice? Enjoy the last of middle school. In high school everything gets trickier. And you know what? Those grades in middle school don't mean a thing in high school. So HAVE FUN.

8th grade if you are still in the same school is like the 7th.if you are in a new school your going to feel a bit out of touch with folks .

Well, all you really have to do to survive the school part is to NOT BE LATE FOR YOUR CLASSES! lol and for the social part is just don't be a trouble maker and just be yourself, there's bound to be somebody in the whole grade that wants to hang out with you!

if you've been to grade 7 then it is largely the same thing. you'll have 2 semesters, the same number of courses, same lunch time. to make more friends you have to be talkative, meaning you should talk to other people whenever is a good time.
also, join clubs and get to know people that seem like they could be your friends.
