So, what is the best kind of government? I'm talking about political systems only here, not economic systems. You can have a look at this list:

I don't believe there is such a thing as the perfect political system, I don't believe in systems, I believe in people.
If there are enough good people, they will be able to fix the system no matter how bad it is, and if they are bad they will manage to ruin it no matter how good it is, no political system, as perfect as it may seem, operates automatically without people operating it, that is where it all comes down to!

Democracy, because in a truely democratic system the people get to design the government the best way to fit their country. Granted, it doesn't always work out perfectly. But I've not heard of a better system yet.
