My Crimson king maple, has some kind of powdery rust like color coming out from the bark , near the roots, If someone could please let me know, what needs to be done, your help is appreciated.
It seems like its not growing much, and moreover it is a grafted tree,do they last, or will it eventually die.

A Yahoo search for "red maple care" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 289 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.

You could do that. Or you could spray it with a commercial fungicide or a mixture of 3 parts water and 1 part water. The beer is still an essential element, though. You should drink it while you treat the tree!

If it is still a young tree, give it LOTS of water.
