Can someone help me understand why some women want to marry criminals on American death row?

Question

Some people say it is for American citizenship. I don't rule out the possibility of this but I don't think this is the case with every woman who marriy someone in that circumstances. Could someone help me understand their reasons and mentality please?

Bored at work, your answer is possible but what about someone who is in debt and is not covered by insurance.

I understand that women love the singular attention these prisoners can give them without real responsiblity for them. Should the prisoner have other interests, they would not spend so much attention on the women and spend more on their freedoms. The women resent when after 6 months of the prisoner being released, that the prisoner will persue other interests and just not be there for the women anymore. They usually break up. Some women can't handle a man in real life either so this is a dream quality that has no responsiblities.

I think women all over America are so needy these days. I do not understand it. So many women think they have to have a man at all cost. Sanity, finance, mentality. You name it. Women who seem stable enough are OBSESSED with getting someone to "love" them. I am a women myself. I find it rather sad that women have no self worth these days. I have quite a few single friends. Once married and still they are always on the hunt. They can not even have a good time when they go out. Why because they are desperately looking out for someone that might give them a ounce of attention. Hope that helps some.

There look rather some women people who fall in "love" with adult males on death row. I have not got any rationalization as to why they do, even though it does ensue. the ladies human beings are often. lonely, starved for interest which the prisoner who corresponds on a regular foundation supplies her, albeit in a letter. i'm not particular if prisoners on death row have conjugal rights or telephone privileges. The prisoner does it as a fashion of not having to concentration on the staggering long mile to the gas chamber or electric chair..He too might do it out if a feeling of loneliness. It does not make any experience from the ladies human beings's point of view through fact there is not any way that they are able to consummate the marriage; the girl then assumes the load of a funeral and burial, and on a similar time as nonetheless alive, she often supplies him with money for cigarettes etc. Your element is definitely taken; why certainly could a women human beings prefer to marry somebody who's is a murderer or mentally deranged or a rapist?

well how many wives can say they know where their husband is all of the time. well, its either a compassion thing, or they want to be the victim... the reelationshipp is based on a lie, a false hope...but any hope, when staring nto the abyss is a welcome guest.

yes, theyre crims, about to die...but we can show them some humanity, some dignity before we buzz tehm with 300000 volts. its a charade, a game pplayed by both sides..one creates and illusion of normality, (the state) in return for compliance and manageability of (the prisoner)

its a carrot and stick act.. but, were i to be johnny 99, i think i'd like to have my esmerelda... this is similar behaviour to a couple marrying as the terminal cancer moves into stage 4...and death is imminent. not one of us can honestly say we'd rather face death on our own...

I think it's like the same reason that some people get very religious; the desire to help others. You see evidence of it all round you in society; charity organisations, religions, volunteer organisations etc. Even on these pages; you see people trying to help others, which is what has motivated me to come onto yahoo, and answer questions!! I think that's what it is: the human element of wanting to help others less fortunate than ourselves...hope that helps you.

Well in my opinion it is the " appeal" of marrying a notorious man. For them it's the conquest, the idea of conquering someone like him. Some do it for "celebrity" status.

I agree though, it's pretty sick but I don't think it's just for American citizenship alone.

LETS SEE IN IN TWO WAYS.FIRST I COULD BE BECAUSE OF THE MONEY(LIFE INSURANCE)
SECONDLY, WHAT THE WOMEN SEE IN THESE CRIMINAL IS THE PERSON IN THEM NOT JUST A CRIMINAL.THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REACH THE BEING OF THESE CRMINAL AND THE THE PART OF THEM THAT ACTUALLY CRAVE TO BE LOVED. LOVE HAS NO PATTERN OR CIRLE IT COMES IN WAY AND MOVES US TO PEOPLE OUR HEAD CANNOT EXPLAIN.ONLY THE HEART CAN DO THE EXPLAINATION.

in a word, safety. they will not get out, they will not meet someone new, they are even more lonely and will go to great lengths to keep her attention. this means they will talk and listen, they will forgive weight and appearance and you may not even see them if they are far enough away. from in prison they can not hit you, harm your kids, date your sister or anything that would get you on springer.
