As far as in a sociological aspect, that would depend on the culture, and in most cases then, the man is superior.

As far as physical prowess, men usually have better upper body strength and higher aggression levels when push comes to shove, and from what I've seen, men don't get cold nearly as easily.

Women, on the other hand, are less likely to be born with genetic defects. They also tend to have a more developed cerebral cortex, allowing them to more effeciently switch between logical and emotional thinking.

In childhood, girls develop faster than boys.

But these are generalizations. Who is superior is probably dependent on the individuals themselves. It is possible for a certain woman to be stronger than a certain man, and it is possible for a boy to physically mature quicker than any of the girls.

WELL, I have always believed that women are superior, because we use our brains more then men, and men use there strength more then women, BUT I do think that we all equal eachother out because men and women are ALL different.

Just from taking a women in history class, I do really think that men use their strength to enforce power and law upon women, which is wrong. Women are just as equal as men, and one day they will be treated equal among all walks of life.

Did you know that before settlers came to America, Indian women controled many aspects of life for their tribe? They had birth control (practiced abortions). They decided when the men ate (although the men were out there hunting). they tended to the crops.

When white (male) settlers bestowed their believes of life upon indians is when all the tribes went haywire. They couldn't practice abortion, so they ran out of food (and in turn had to start trading).

Women have come a long way just since the late 1800's (women's sufferage movement) I just hope we can keep moving towards a more equal society for women and men!

In a world of equality, Women are superior. Men worship women and need their acceptance. In a system of inequality, like IRAQ or IRAN, men are more superior. Look what happens when men are superior, men riot in the streets, cut off heads, become terrorists... If women were equal, this stuff would stop.
