In a twelve team league. I picked up TJ Duckett right after he was traded to Wash, but now I'm thinking Vernand Morency of the Texans might have more upside. Any comments?

I'm in Houston, and having second thoughts cause some of the guys on the radio think Morency will become the clear #1 in a few weeks. Especially if Davis doesn't come back from his injury.

Davis is not coming back from injury, so right now I'd say Morency is the better pick - at least he has more upside. TJ will get some shots at the endzone - and if Portis can't go week 1 - they've already said Betts will get the bulk of the carries. See if you can move Duckett to whoever owns Portis.

Morency has more value, he at least has a chance to start. Duckett is a nonfactor. Pick up Morency and check week 1 closely to see if he's getting enough carries to be on a roster.

Duckett is going to be the short yardage back in Washington. Morency is going to split time with Wali lundy. I'd keep Duckett becuase hes going to get most carries when Washington plays on Sunday! Both are good options.

Hmmm. Duckett is a touchdown vulture, but Lundy will start with Dayne getting goal line carries. Betts may fill in if Portis can't go. technically he's the backup.
If you have anything else on the waiver wire, look at Jerious Norwood, ATL, Brandon Jacobs (NYG), or Ryan Moats (PHI).
I prefer to handcuff my own guys, so do what makes sense.

dominick davis is out. morency is in i did the same thing picked up morency---smart move hurry before someone else does
