I think that's pretty scary to have deep feeling for somebody over the internet and haven't met in person, i know this coz i've been there.. and it's never come true. Talk with him on the internet for a while, fine but then you should meet him in person as soon as you can to get to know the real him.. coz i doubt that people telling you the truth on the internet coz you can't see their face, their expression, no eye contacts.. which means the possibility of them telling a lie is VERY BIG!

All the time. A lot of people have virtual marriages. There are games where this happens a lot like "There" "Sims Online" "Second Life" these are socially motivated games with marriages and people who live virtual lives and that includes marriage.

I think of the Internet as a via, that people use to get to know others; there are certainly people who develop a close friendship via chat pages etc, but, in the long run, real relationships require getting to REALLY know someone in the material world; not cyber space. That's not to say that it cannot happen; but it can only go so far if it's only in `cyber space'.

I think that when people talk on the internet, they build up imaginary images and feelings in their minds,if you see what i mean and it becomes blown out of porportion, its not reality as such.
